[Giving to Mesa] brought tears of joy to my eyes. Nothing warms my heart more than watching Mesa students shine. In this purpose we are one, creating a student-centered college experience with built in support to generate equity.

Generously investing in our cause every month is an especially valued way to give, because it creates a steady stream of support for our mission and students. That is why we want to give a special thanks to those in our Give Every Month (GEM) Club.

One of the most powerful ways to support our mission is through a planned gift in a will or estate. We are humbled by those who choose to make the San Diego Mesa College Foundation a part of their legacy.

PARTNER SPOTLIGHT
THOMAS A. DETEMPLE & CATHERINE P. CLEARY
SUPPORTING EDUCATION - IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE!
When Thomas A. DeTemple decided he wanted to honor his late wife Michaele "Mickey"
DeTemple, he reached out to his sister-in-law, Catherine P. Cleary, and together they
established an endowment at Mesa College. The goal? Help build a pipeline of teachers
as passionate and dedicated as Mickey.
THEIR IMPACT
The Michaele DeTemple Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund will provide scholarships
to students who are pursuing an Associate's degree in Elementary Teacher Education
with the intent of transferring and pursuing a teaching career. Not only will funds
help current students, but will promote more talent within education.
