About Innovation Grants

The 2025-2026 Innovation Grants Application period is NOW OPEN – applications are being accepted until November 7, 2025*

Are you faculty or staff of San Diego Mesa College? Do you have an innovative idea for how you can support student success?

You can apply for a grant of up to $3,000 from The San Diego Mesa College Foundation. Innovation Grants are awarded for projects and equipment that drive innovation support student success.

* Applications must receive a letter of support from both a Dean and Vice President no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, November 7. You are responsible for getting fully approved by that time.

Innovation Grant Application

There are three steps to applying:

1- Draft your content

The online application does not allow you to save and edit your work. Use the Application Drafting Playground to save, edit, and share.

2- Request Letters of Support

You are responsible for making sure that both your Dean and Vice President review and sign letters of support for your proposal before the deadline. You must attach these signed letters to your submission. Unapproved applications will not be considered for funding.
